Zombie Research

Zombies are a large part of pop culture. We are using zombies within our music videos, the zombie models will be based on George A. Romearo' s zombie model from his films, however there will be a twist as in Georges films they die and then come back to life, we will be making the character sick, then a virus makes him turn into a zombie. After the infection zombies life revolves around eating flesh, or the brain. The rules of the zombies that we will be using:

  • Slow moving
  • Blood thirsty
  • Brain-dead
  • Stiff movement
  • Groans
  • Emotionless
  • blemishes on the skin
  • Gory
  • White eye's
These attributes make the audience detach themselves from zombies, and they then root for the hero as they are more relatable. This is due to the graph called the uncanny valley, this is a graph depicting the more the character has human features the more you emphasis with it/them, the dip is called the uncanny valley, and zombies resemble humans but in a way that makes the audience feel uncomfortable.
