This music video's is for Jack Johnson's new song 'With or at me'. It's set in a small venue where Jack Johnson is playing a 'secret' gig. However it's interrupted by one of the comedians on hit U.S. TV show ' Saturday Night Live' who ridicules Jack Johnson (on the show Saturday Night Live). He constantly distracts Jack whilst he's on stage, so then he then retaliated by jumping of stage and then gliding through the air and tackling the comedian to the floor. They then have a fight in the middle of the gig which leads to the comedian getting hit by a car. After getting hit by the car they then realize how ridiculous the whole fight is and make friends, this is until the song finishes and the comedian hits Jack over the back with a wooden chair.
you can tell the location is a music video due to the denotations of the lights, crowd and musical equipment on stage. You warm to the performer on stage as you can tell he is having a good performance this can be told by the audience smiling, dancing and having a general good time, this contrasts to the comedian with this friends; whom are having there own conversations by themselves, texting and being loud and rude. Even the two characters contrast in the senesce of fashion; As Jack wears a pastel blue t-shirt, jeans and flip flops which all have connotations of being laid back and impartial. However the comedian wears a trench coat, trousers and a shirt and tie; The trench coat has connotations of being dubious and suspicious, which these appearances a poler opposites.
When the comedian enters the club, he's in a mid-shot on a dolly, then edited in slow motion this means that it is a kay event to the video. Which it then zooms in on Jack's eye's which are scowling at him entering the club; this conveys Jack's hate for the comedian, the zooming on scowled eyes is derived from the old western cowboy films which did this shot when there was a shootout which was about to commence. Plus when Jack is on stage the camera cuts between long shots and close ups. In the long shots are a POV shot from the audience, and it's always a low angle shot ; to make Jack look superior to the audience, the camera also uses the rule of thirds with the silhouette of the audience, the light between the silhouette and the light on stage contrast, this makes the performers on stage stand out. The rule of thirds is used again where the comedian is tackled in mid-air by Jack; This shows how much energy has go in to the tackle to see him fly through the air, and it also makes it very clear to the audience what has just happened as the action was so quick. During the fist fight the camera is on a harness on the actors chest, thus using the actor as a dolly; this gives the effects of the actors being disgruntled or disorientated. After this sequence the camera is focused on a two arms being tied by a scarf and then zooms out; this makes the audience give there whole attention to the the action that has just taken place.
The sound of the song by Jack Johnson called 'With Or At ME' is constantly playing over the top; it's a very mellow folk song which contrasts the action which happens. There are gaps in the music where dialogue happening on screen. However even when the song is playing, the sound effects are layered on top to give the punches on screen more impact.

Introduction
Our media team had the original idea of researching and making a short film, we run Ideas past each other, and we then decided to a narrative. Then to some dispute we then decided that we will make a music video instead of a short film, but still using the narrative (which is explained in the video). We then had a narrative, which we decided on what had the most potential, The narrative that had the most potential was the Zombie Idea, Which is about a adolescent boy goes over to his friends house with a bit of cold, which turns out to be a Zombie infection. He then runs around the house getting chased by the zombie, which he then finds a weapon and kills him. Then at the end there it then is revealed that they were on the TV show punk'd. This is similar to the 'pull back and reveal' joke technique, when the set-up to the joke is setting the scene, but the pull-back reveals that the audience weren't right the first time.
we have also decided on a short list of songs:
